Beauville's First Flag, Designed by You
Beauville does not yet have a flag of its own. As a special economic zone governed under the G7 framework — but inhabited and shaped by the people who actually live here — we invite you to design a flag that represents this place. Not a nation. A place still being built.
REQUIRED ELEMENTS
What every submission must do
- Neutral color palette preferred — avoid combinations that closely resemble any existing G7 member state's flag, to reflect Beauville's status as co-managed rather than affiliated with any single power.
PROHIBITED ELEMENTS
What no submission may include
- No weapons, religious symbols, or political party emblems.
- No imagery that could be read as celebrating full sovereignty or independence (e.g., stars symbolizing statehood, broken chains). Beauville is a zone under a governance framework — not a new nation.
SUGGESTED · NOT REQUIRED
Elements worth considering
- Elements reflecting Beauville's geography — island, ocean.
- Visual echoes of the Beau Dollar's symbol or color scheme.
- Imagery reflecting the blending of diverse migrant backgrounds — though avoid clichés like simply collaging multiple national flags together.
FORMAT REQUIREMENTS
How to submit your design
- Vector file (SVG/AI) or high-resolution image (PNG, minimum 2000×2000px).
- Aspect ratio: 2:3 or 3:5 (standard flag proportions accepted).
- A brief statement (under 100 words) explaining your design concept.
ABOUT SELECTION
Selected designs will be incorporated into Beauville's official visual identity, and may appear in later chapters of the novel — for instance, as a resident-proposed flag under debate before the G7 governance committee.
